My best and most rewarding experiences have been tending the
buddy box and sharing our hobby with newcomers.

It’s very close to home and I love flying around poles. |

| My Commentary: I
will always be grateful to model aviation because it led me
to a career in which I actually enjoy going to work.
As with many of us, my passion for model airplanes
lost ground to women and full scale flying in my late teens.
I now have young kids and want to share model
aviation with them, so I’m getting back into the hobby.
At least that’s why I tell my wife.
In that respect, I have come full circle.
