Best Experience:  My best and most rewarding experiences have been tending the buddy box and sharing our hobby with newcomers.
Why I fly at CCRCS:  It’s very close to home and I love flying around poles.
My Project/Build List:  The categories include free-flight, control line, r/c sport, r/c scale and r/c aerobatic aircraft.  Currently flying:  Great Planes Extra 300 .46 kit built, EP Stinger .10 kit built, Super Slow Stick semi-scratch built, Extra 330 EP ARF and  Judge 540 foamie.  Currently building:  Slipstream Sbach 342.  Currently restoring:  18 year old silk covered Sig 1/5 scale J-3 Cub.
My Commentary: I will always be grateful to model aviation because it led me to a career in which I actually enjoy going to work.  As with many of us, my passion for model airplanes lost ground to women and full scale flying in my late teens.  I now have young kids and want to share model aviation with them, so I’m getting back into the hobby.  At least that’s why I tell my wife.  In that respect, I have come full circle.
