Favorite CCRCS Event:  Fun Flys Best R/C Project:  1/3 scale DG-600 Glider scratch-built from glass fuselage ordered from Germany
Worst Experience:  Crashing my 1/3 scale Salto on a downwind turn for landing (repair was good for the soul though)
Best Experience:  Landing multiple times without damage
Why I fly at CCRCS:

Great club people, good place to practice short field landings

My Project/Build List:

Cap 10B, Ultrafly FW-190, P-47 electric, A-10 pusher......

My Commentary:  I started off flying thermal contest gliders in Colorado, and later I got into large scale gliders and all composite racers for slope flying. My buddy's needed an aero-tow pilot so I volunteered and became so interested in gas planes that I became known as a traitor in the  glider camp. I eventually started flying helicopters for a few years, but got tired of all the set-up issues and transitioned to electrics which are pretty much hassle-free (except lipo batteries, ask me sometime). What a great and varied sport this is!!
