| My Commentary:
I started off flying thermal contest gliders in Colorado,
and later I got into large scale gliders and all composite
racers for slope flying. My buddy's needed an aero-tow pilot
so I volunteered and became so interested in gas planes that
I became known as a traitor in the
glider camp. I eventually started flying helicopters
for a few years, but got tired of all the set-up issues and
transitioned to electrics which are pretty much hassle-free
(except lipo batteries, ask me sometime). What a great and
varied sport this is!! |
