Our first annual "Show, Shine and Swap Meet" was held on Saturday, April 17th this year.  Hosted by our club president Mike Akers and the folks at Island Hobbies, it turned out to be a fun and exciting event.  As Mike himself puts it: "It was very well accepted by Island Hobbies and the other local merchants.  It was a big success and we all had a great time.  We have been asked to do another one.  There was a lot of interest for the club and a lot of ooh's and aah's as we had several flyers and a lot of observers throughout the day!"
