"Wet Wings" at Tug Lake: Fall Flights. .
. second float fly event this year, sponsored by the club
was conducted. 11 flyers participated all day, with a
friendly competition portion won by club member Nelson
Scott.

has been closed for the last week due to the Clark County

Larry Tate hosted the annual Scale Fun
Fly for a large crowd. Although smaller in attendance
by registered pilots, it drew a nice crowd. "Corky
Ronalder" won the door prize. |

Jim Biizzard, club member and owner of
Blizzard Repair, donated time and materials for the mounting
of a new club bulletin. The board is not mounted in
the shelter at the field and will be maintained by the
webmaster. Thanks Jim, for a great effort and a
wonderful new feature for the club!

in attendance, including twenty three registered flyers.

managed by CCRCS member Jim Taylor was a huge success.
144 scouts attained their Aviation Merit Badge on this day!

Hosted by Dave Anderson, our club's
first float fly was held at Tug Lake, east of Orchards, WA.
Dubbed "Wet Wings," it was a huge success, with fliers
registered from as far at Thurston county!

The season's first Fun Fly was held
today, with several flyers in attendance to ring in the new
year! Billed as our Hangover, Wingover, Noseover
event, it was started several years ago by founding member
Luis Munoz. Congrats on all those who attended, and
let's move forward to a great year of flying! |
