June 9, 2010	Club members this day appointed Dave Anderson, Tom 'O', Matt Williams, and Luis Munoz to draft plans for the 30-year anniversary celebration of our club. We were originally incorporated as a non-profit in April of 1981. Club members are encouraged to participate with their ideas an suggestions by contacting any committee member listed above, or by sending an email to your webmaster (ccrcswebmaster@comcast.net).

Feb 3, 2011	Comittee meeting was held with Dave Anderson, Luis Munoz, and Matt Williams in attendance. Resolution was approved to conduct a Fun Fly event on the weekend of Jun 11th and 12th. The Fun Fly will include a swap meet, demonstration table, demonstration flight, pot-luck with grilled hot dogs, and a raffle for a new ARF. Suggestions for the meet are still being taken, please contact the webmaster at the above link or any other committee member.

Feb 9, 2011	The 30^th Year Anniversary Committee has met twice since its commission recently. Our working proposal to the club membership at the Feb 2011 meeting was well received. At the moment, the committee proposes to hold an anniversary event as part of our regular Fun Fly event on June 11^th. This event is planned to include a potluck lunch, expert flying demonstrations, flying clinics, a presentation of our club history, recognition of founding members still members today, open flying and buddy-box training. A swap meet is planned, and John will have a plane offered as a door prize. There is also a planned presentation of proposed changes to AMA rules affecting R/C flying. It’s unique and amazing to be part of such a long-running club! It shows the talent of our leadership, as well at the association of the members and our love of flying. I hope all club members will plan on attending this well-deserved event, invite friends and encourage other club members to attend.
