MY MIRACLE PUTTY

This putty combination has been around for awhile, but I found it on the website www.wowplanes.com.

It will not shrink, sands very easily and dries rock-hard! Both items are found in most local hardware stores - I found mine at Ace Hardware, and is very easy on the pocketbook.  These two containers will last for a year or two in your shop.

I've used this combination on my foam fliers, as well as the balsa wood models.  It cures quickly, is super lightweight, molds with easy consistency, and adheres dependably and permanently, and is paintable!

To use this method, mix one part putty to one part spackling, adding very little water to the desired consistency.  I have literally poured a new wing surface on foam models, and have plugged holes and dents in my balsa models with a thicker solution.
