This is the Great Planes Rapture that the Agars gave me for Christmas, and I finally got some time and I got this plane started!

We got the plans rolled out and they say to start with the vertical stab, so we got our waxed paper out and covered the plans so no CA would get on the plans as that would result in holes that I don't want!

Putting some of the support into the vertical stab, have to make sure its flat for the CA so it doesnt cure while the wood is uneven 2. 3. 4. We got the rudder cut out, and the edges rounded and the v-shape of the rudder will come later... 5. We got the hinge slots cut out with the Great Planes Slot Machine (compliments of Mr. Agar) and got the hinges put it, but not installed because they are CA hinges and they are nearly impossible to remove if you install them, which is why you wait to install them until you have covered the rudder
I have the structure of the vertical stabilizer all finished!
We got the edges rounded off and on the bottom left corner we got some of the balsa cut off to be even with the main piece just like the directions say!
