This is the Top Flite Cessna 310, my first twin engine project. I've always been intrigued with the idea of a twin but could never bring myself to purchase one. Well, that dilemma was solved for me because I won this kit at our annual Christmas party raffle. How I won this plane is a story in itself. In short, in the first draw the lucky ticket holder was Jim T, who very generously offered to put the plane back in the drawing for existing ticket holders who contributed another dollar towards the club's raffle fund (Thanks Jim!). I promptly threw in another dollar, along with everyone else, only two people did not participate in the second drawing. Believe it or not the second drawing was Tim F, one of the two who decided not to participate by contributing another dollar (Thanks Tim!). So, because Tim had not contributed the extra dollar he was not eligible, on the third drawing I was the lucky winner!  Now, on to the build!
