As I was preparing to mount the stab to the fuselage, I needed to confirm that my wing and stab incidence were at 0 degrees. My first problem was the wing was at 0 degree's and the stab platform was at minus 5 degrees. I am not sure how this was missed when I cut out the fuselage
sides, but in retrospect I am not sure that I checked it using the plans. Then my problem got worse as I dropped my incidence meter and destroyed it.  After a trip to Ted's for a new Robart Incidence meter I made a shim for the stab getting it to 0 degree's to match the wing.

I now have the rear deck ready for sheeting having glued in the glue strips on the top edges and the center 1/4 inch stringer.

I was studying the plans and realized that there was no instrument panel. I dug out my former templates and used F-2 as a guide and made an instrument panel for her. It will be ready for sheeting as soon as the engine mount is installed with the blind nuts.
I have mounted a Great Planes large extended motor mount as I am planning to use a 4 stroke, however the jury is still out as to which one. I have about 4 degrees of right thrust built to the mount. I have made an angled piece of plywood to get the 4 degrees. Those with a sharp eye can see that I forgot the golden rule, measure twice and drill once. In order to get the proper angle I moved the mount over 1/4 inch from center to the right and instead of checking before I taped the template on the firewall, I drilled the mount holes right on the center line. I had the right thrust, it was just a 1/4 of center. I used some masking tape on the back side and filled the holes with epoxy. I used my heat gun to make sure that the epoxy filled all the voids and the mounted the mount where it belongs.

It's been a hectic week so progress has been slow. I have the Vertical stab and rudder all done with the exception of the final sanding and the dorsal fins.
I also have to make and install the fairing's so the stabs all blend together. I have also got the rear deck ready for the rear canopy. I need to get my clear plastic out and start cutting the windows out.
