Once the 5 layers of polycyclic have been put on and one final touch up with the sand paper, it is time to paint.   The material I used are high build automotive primer, acrylic putty, a bar sander and a ton of sand paper
First spray the area with primer.  Let it dry, then sand it with a bar sander.  Keep sanding until most of the primer is gone.  Whatever is left is a low spot, so the next step is to fill all of the low areas with acrylic automotive putty.

Once that dries, sand it with the bar sander again.  The primer and the putty have filled the major blemishes and now it is time for another round of primer.  This completes the circle, I just repeat the steps until surface is as smooth as I want it to be.
Looking at the pictures, it looks like a have a ton of putty filling the low areas.  I don't think it is as bad as it looks.  The layers of putty are really thin, but I definitely am worried about adding too much weight to the overall plane

The fuselage is ready for painting. The windows are installed and I am thrilled with the way they turned out.
I am just finishing up priming some misc pieces, control surfaces and hatches, then it is on to final painting.
