I am suprised at how easily the wing (frame) came together.
Just like everything else, Topflite has a ton of pictures and shows every step.
The wing was built in 3 sections and joined.  It is now framed and ready to install the
engine nacelles and retracts.

The (robart) retracts are designed specially for this kit and they still don't fit!  So far this has been the only disappointing part of this build.  When installed as directed, the wheel is so far forward that it doesn't fit into the wheel bay anymore.  I had to move the aft brace back about 3/8" to give the required clearance for the wheel to retract.

I knew it was going to be a big wing, but it still caught
me off guard when I first saw it joined.  It covers my whole building table!

I had to move the aft brace back about 3/8" to give the required clearance for the wheel to retract.  The pistons don't fit as shown and Robart didn't include all of the necessary hardware  After they were installed, everything works great, but I got a bit frustrating when I was trying to make everything fit.

I have now sheeted the bottom of the wing.  I have never used sandbags before to hold the sheeting in place.  I really like it.  They help the sheeting to take the shape of the ribs without damaging the wing.

It was one of the many recommedations in the directions.  Topflite recommends that you buy lead shotgun pellets  I decided to go with the sand because I couldn't see myself buying shot when the sand is almost free!  It works great.
